EMBASSIES: Advice on Structural Concerns

99 Structural Engineers have experience advising Senior Diplomats on the upkeep of their embassy buildings in Kensington and Chelsea

We have experience of advising Senior Diplomats on the upkeep of their embassy buildings including structural engineering consulting on maintenance and repairs. The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is home to a wide range of Consulates and Diplomatic Buildings from the Cameroon High Commission to the Embassy of Uruguay. Except for modern purpose built embassies such as the Czech and Slovak Embassy on Kensington Palace Gardens, many diplomatic buildings are in converted townhouses which are over a hundred years old. They may have issues with leaking roofs, sloping timber floors, cracks forming in masonry walls or plasterwork which has become debonded with time.

We draw on advice from a Conservation Accredited Engineer with over 30 years of relevant experience and can provide structural consulting such as an Inspection Report to advise Embassy staff on the upkeep of their building. If any repairs are required we can advise on an action plan to resolve these.
